  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective customers to ensure assigned sales revenue targets are met through the implementation of strategic sales planning and solution selling methodologies.
  • Ensure a high level of communications between existing and prospective customers.
  • Act as a primary liaison between the end-user customer and Logistics for the transfer of sales-, technical-, product-, pricing-, and support-related information.
  • Manage and resolve all business issues that directly affect the ability to develop long-term relationships between Logistics and the customer.
  • Ability to conduct detailed research to establish the account background in order to build and maintain effective territory plans, account strategies, and account plans.
  • Develop a clear understanding of customer/prospect fiscal business strategy, key influencers and decision makers, and procurement decision processes.
  • Build high-level strategic relationships and direct contacts within accounts, ensuring complete coverage of the executive decision making individuals (CxO, EVP, SVP, VP).
  • Lead and conduct sales calls, presentations, and demonstrations to 'C' level management.
  • Prepare and deliver quotations and proposals and respond to RFI’s and RFP’s as required.
  • Assure continual account satisfaction through maximum responsiveness, superior service levels, and personalized customer care.
  • Provide required sales forecasts, activity reports, etc. as required for the Director of Sales.

Travel Requirements
  • Travel within assigned territory will be required (travel up to 50%).
Education
  • Ideal candidate would have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering or other degree with relevant working experience.
  • Formal Sales Methodology Training (i.e. Solution Selling, Holden - Power Based Selling, or equivalent sales training).


  • Support the efforts of the Sales Team and Logistics global resellers throughout the sales cycle and processing of orders as they are closed.
  • Process and enter all orders into our Customer Records Management system (CRM) with accuracy - products, maintenance, training and services.
  • Perform sales order review verifying that all appropriate documentation is complete (i.e. terms and conditions, part numbers, prices etc.).
  • Assist with quote generation and software evaluation requests to prospects and existing customers.
  • Data entry of all web inquires and sales leads into the CRM, maintain customer and prospect data in the CRM as deemed necessary.
  • Respond to web inquiries and distribute sales leads (web inquiries/tradeshows/partners/other) to the Sales Team or respective Logistics reseller based on their pre-defined accounts and territories.
  • Answer incoming general information requests made by prospective and existing customers.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of Logistics products, services, processes and policies.
  • Communicate and liaise with other Logistics department personnel to ensure efficient processing and delivery of customer orders.
  • Respond to Sales Team inquiries regarding customer order history, customer account history, pricing and part numbers.
  • Respond to RFI’s, RFQ’s and RFP’s when required.
  • Pursue customer maintenance renewals, when requested.
  • Learn Logistics technology to the point of being able to conduct a proficient web demo.
Minimum Qualifications include:
  • A post-secondary education.
  • Proficiency in a Windows/PC environment.
  • Previous experience in a sales support role.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change.


  • Work with software development and QA teams to define product requirements and testing procedures.
  • Provide input on UI design on both web and Logistics applications.
  • Design, develop and maintain corporate and reseller web sites.
  • Develop custom content for Logistics applications, Marketing and Sales.
  • Participate in training and providing consulting services to Logistics customers.
  • Create media presentations to assist sales representatives in the field.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include:
  • Relevant Community College degree/diploma in web/graphic design/development or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years experience in a creative, digital media, web-development environment.
  • Demonstrated aptitude and experience with 3D modeling and animation tools.
  • Proven development experience using the following tools and technologies: JSP, XML, XSL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP & ASP.
  • Development experience with Expression Blend and XAML.
  • Proven experience using Adobe Products; PhotoShop, Flash, ActiveScript, Illustrator, After Effects etc.
  • A sound creative and conceptual vision for execution and the ability to deliver high quality interactive content to meet strategic business objectives.
  • Possession of, or proven ability to develop, the necessary technical skills to perform proficiently in all aspects of web site design/development work.
  • Artistic creativity, balanced with strong sense of analytical technical do-ability.
  • Excellent communications/presentation skills, especially of artistic visions and layouts.
  • Experience with current web technologies including ASP.Net and AJAX.
